Help for your Organisation

Poole CVS offers a wide range of help to voluntary, community and faith groups, including producing a newsletter six times a year. This is emailed to all our members, as well as to our colleagues in the statutory sector.

We also loan equipment (please see below).

We work in partnership with Bournemouth CVS and the Dorset Race Equality Council to provide an integrated advice service. See links on the left.

One of the successes of our Give and Receive project

The photo shows Bob Irwin and Brian Miles from The Friends of Dolphin receiving a cheque for £1,500 from Phil Whitehurst. Phil, managing director of Active Research said: We’re delighted to be able to support The Friends of Dolphin. Our company has been built on providing specialist electronics for the marine sector, so it felt only right to aim our philanthropy to a charity that shares our love of the ocean with the people they help. We look forward to working closely with Bob and his team in the year ahead.

  • Flipchart stand
  • Display boards

"Friendly and efficient service provided by knowledgable staff." Lewis Manning Hospice

We are very grateful that we were helped to set up a relationship with local company, Active Research, which we are confident will lead to ever closer working links in the future.

Furthermore, the promised initial financial support from the company of £1,500 is welcomed and greatly appreciated by everyone involved with our charity.
